UK-based 365 Corporation said it plans to get out of its hardware business as part of an overall strategy to focus on voice software.
365 also said it is looking to change its name to Eckoh Technologies as it narrows its business to its Eckoh voice portal and speech application services.
Last year, 365 merged its internet content business with UK media company Chrysalis and now holds 40 per cent of the resulting sports and fansite content provider, Rivals Digital Media.
The company said efforts to refocus its business were starting to have positive effects as it reduced losses for the third quarter of last year. Its speech solution business also reported a ?400,000 profit during the period, compared to a ?200,000 lost in the previous quarter. ((Distributed via M2 Communications Ltd - http://www.m2.com))
