NSW: Man charged with robbing six service stations in five hours

A man's been charged with robbing six service stations across Sydney's southwest in
just five hours.

Police claim between 11.30 last night and 4 o'clock this morning .. the 24 year old
used a hammer and metal wrench to rob the service stations at Canterbury .. Bankstown
.. South Hurstville .. Roselands .. Penshurst and Earlwood.

They say he was arrested while trying to rob another store in Hurlstone Park.

He'll face Burwood Local Court later today.
