FED:Tradies strike a blow for men everywhere

A survey by The Australian Women's Weekly indicates Aussie women would much rather
marry a tradie than a prince.

Perhaps dreaming of a DIY-free life .. women also say they'd take a tradie over a millionaire
.. an actor or sportsman.

The magazine's editor-in-chief HELEN McCABE says she thinks it's a very Australian result.

She says Australian women are very down to earth .. and that's reflected in the findings.

Ms McCABE says we like to admire royal romances from afar .. but most realise it's
not a realistic lifestyle.
