NT: NT cop touched girl's breasts: court
A court's been told a Northern Territory police officer touched a teenage girl's breasts
while investigating her for shoplifting.
Just days later, he told a woman he would forget a $550 fine for a lapsed car registration
if she flashed her breasts at him.
DAVID WILLIAM HOSCHKE, who's 34, pleaded guilty today to a charge of indecent assault
and two counts of abuse of office in October 2003.
Prosecutor TIARNI MCNAMEE told the court both victims have been seriously affected
by the incidents, and HOSCHKE has shown no signs of remorse.
HOSCHKE was stood down by the police service during the investigation, and eventually
resigned in July last year.
He'll be sentenced this afternoon.
