Fed: Swan says AAA credit rating stable

Treasurer WAYNE SWAN says Australia's triple-A credit rating is stable .. despite reports
it's under review.

Today's Australian Financial Review says Standard & Poor's is considering our triple-A
status in view of the federal government's guarantee on 1.2 trillion dollars in deposits.

Mr SWAN says Standard & Poor's has Australia's credit rating as stable .. but is reviewing
countries' ratings globally.
