TEENAGER HELD IN SHOOTING AMSTERDAM MAN WOUNDED IN LEG.(Local)

A 16-year-old Colonie youth was in jail Thursday after being charged with assault for allegedly shooting a man at the teenager's house.

The victim, Arthur Ianuzzi, 25, of 3 Phillip St., Amsterdam, was in serious condition in Albany Medical Center Hospital Thursday. He was treated for a gunshot wound to the right leg.

Michael Savoie of 52 Oakwood Drive was arrested in connection with the shooting about a half-mile from his home 30 minutes after the 2 p.m. incident, Colonie police said.
